It was a pretty takeoff over the tule fog in the San Joaquin Valley.

What absolutely sucks is that there are no direct flights from Fresno to Reno. I would have driven but Donner Pass is a bitch this time of year, as the Donner party discovered tragically. So I have to take a 40 minute flight to LA, and then fly a little over an hour to Reno. In between, I have time to kill at LAX. I am sitting at the bar drinking coffee. I don’t feel too bad, because people headed to the northeast have it a lot worse than me.  They just announced that they are pulling people off of the Boston flight.  I guess no one is getting there for a while.  That is supposed to be my gate, so I will have to wait for the reassignment.

No glass buttresses, though. I am wondering what the hassles would be for getting this registered in CA. It’s not early enough of be smog exempt , right?

Gotta love the lack of direct flights from anywhere other than LAX and SFO. Takes longer to get to Sacramento from SLO via airplane than it does in a car.

I have an idea. Fund my PPL and get a plane and I’ll fly ya. All the big shot lawyer have private planes right?
